China Matters’ Second National Meeting was convened in Melbourne on 20 November 2015. Held in partnership with La Trobe Asia, approximately 30 senior government officials, business executives and academics discussed challenging aspects of Australia-China relations.
The panel sessions focused on:
- What does China want from the region? How should Australia respond?
- China’s economic environment under Xi Jinping: what are the implications for Australian business?
- The PRC’s engagement with Australian society: how should Australia respond?
